Farm workers help ensure our families are fed — yet their own health and well-being are too often placed at risk. From extreme heat and pesticide exposure to isolation, injury, and long-term illness, the cost of feeding America is carried in human bodies and lives.

On Friday, January 23 at 7:00 p.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. PT, join the National Farm Worker Ministry (NFWM) for a discussion examining the full scope of health challenges facing farm worker communities.

This conversation will explore:

  • Physical health risks tied to heat stress, chemical exposure, and demanding labor
  • Mental and emotional health impacts connected to isolation, stress, and lack of protections
  • How gaps in labor laws and enforcement leave farm workers uniquely vulnerable

Panelists include farm worker leaders and advocates from Alianza Nacional de Campesinas and Líderes Campesinas, alongside members of the NFWM Board, sharing lived experience and on-the-ground insight.

Together, they will reflect on what it truly costs to put food on America’s table — and how people of faith and conscience can respond.
